I submitted this wishlist to upstream bug tracking system.
As far as I checked, this needs wide range changes around templates and 
scheduler.

We are proxying the CUPS web administration interface via an
SSL-enabled apache. As a result, the URL is not
http://server:631/admin, but https://server/cups/admin.
Unfortunately, CUPS seems to assume it is installed in the site
root and uses absolute links to images and pages.

It would be nice to be able to set a HTTP_BASE option or the like.
