Bug#302480: nvidia-kernel-source: cpu does not support PAT, aborting.. - what?
Randall I don't think it's anything you have to worry about. Grand - thanks for the rapid response and for maintaining this package, it makes use of this driver much easier than before! I can find no documentation for the error, nor can I find the phrase using google or anything describing its meaning in the module source. The problem seems to stem from debian/patches/04_minion, which refers to a website (http://www.minion.de/files/) which notes that all the patches it contained were hopelessly outdated. Hmm, I thought I disabled the patching for 7167. (BTW, there were two sets of patches on the minion site, very old ones, and ones for 6629 which were also posted to the nvnews.net forum.) I'll look in to it again and make sure as I'm working on 7174 at the momment. I don't think it's anything you have to worry about. -- Randall Donald [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.khensu.org[EMAIL PROTECTED] Programmer/Debian Developer GnuPG: 6C27DEAB -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe.
