Only thing we changed was moving the config to NFS to build a fax cluster :-). I'll be able to check that out on Monday if it helps you track down the problem. Yes, please. I would only like to know if you copied everything using the 'cp' command without '-a' or '-p' options, i.e., changing file dates. If this is the case, as I suspect, then the problem is explained and you may close this bug report sending an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks, Giuseppe -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#304773: hylafax-server init script complaining about faxcover.ps
Package: hylafax-server Version: 4.2.1-5 Doing as the package tells me: machine:/etc/hylafax# /etc/init.d/hylafax start ERROR: /var/spool/hylafax/etc/faxcover.ps is newer than /etc/hylafax/faxcover.ps Please send a bug report on the hylafax-server package /var/spool/hylafax and /etc/hylafax are mounted via NFS. The two files are identical (checked with diff). Alex -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hi Alex, [...] /var/spool/hylafax and /etc/hylafax are mounted via NFS. The two files are identical (checked with diff). Alex Thanks for reporting this. If you say that both files are equals could you please issue the command: cp -p /var/spool/hylafax/etc/faxcover.ps /etc/hylafax/faxcover.ps and tell me if this solves the problem? Sure it does for this file, but then it starts complaining about all the other files. After copying over all the files with cp -p, the problem is gone.
