I have built a vserver (used newvserver that call vserver ... build), and it worked fine. Is this a very special case? > The only way I know to get output suitable for debootstrap is: > debconf-get-selections 2> /dev/null | grep ^base-config | grep > "mirror/suite" | awk '{ print $4 }' Is this reliable? How about upgraded versions of Debian? > An other option is to parse /etc/apt/sources.list but that won't be > reliable. Agree. Bug#306531: util-vserver: debootstrap issue and usage info
Package: util-vserver Severity: normal Tags: patch -BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 The usage info doesn't contain the build option and should require a vserver name. a debootstap called with deb31 won't work.
