Indeed, there were two items to apply. I run the upgrade manually and now
it seems everything works fine.

I'm not sure but I believe it was one of the first (probably the first) 
0.19 series version available in Debian; timestamp of old configuration 
files in /etc/mantis is October 20, 2004. I suppose I skipped an upgrade 
or two since then because previous upgrade was very painful so I put the 
package on hold till now.



Was the database upgraded?
 


I let the upgrade script do its work, didn't do anything manually.
