Yes, did that.. no answer up to now. What is strange: I get the problem with _any_ version of rekall I can get my hands on (debian, tarball from upstream, cvs), so it probably is not a problem with _this_ package... I just tried sid again, still happens. I will try again to play with it later... I guess some library problem. Bug#315598: rekall: crashes on inserting "link"
Package: rekall Version: 2.2.3-2-2 Severity: normal rekall crashes immediately upon selecting any of the New-Link-* selections in the context menu. I have this behavior on two different machines, the amd64 this report comes from, but also a i386 installation. I am not sure if this is the same issue as in http://www.totalrekall.co.uk/pipermail/rekall_totalrekall.co.uk/2005-February/88.html but it sure looks the same. Unfortunately the thread there "died away" If you need more info, please ask and I will try to provide it. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12-rc3-050514 Locale: LANG=de_CH.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_CH.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages rekall depends on: ii kdelibs4 4:3.3.2-6.1 KDE core libraries ii libart-2.0-2 2.3.17-1Library of functions for 2D graphi ii libaudio21.7-2 The Network Audio System (NAS).
