Package: installation-reports Debian-installer-version: Debian GNU/Linux Sarge 3.1 (DVD)
Machine: Clone Processor: Pentium IV 3,2Ghz Memory: Kignston 1GB MotherBoard: GigaByte 8I-PE775G Root Device: Serial ATA Samsung 120 GB DVD writer: Master of Secondary IDE bus If there is not a IDE Hard disk, Debian instalation fails just after configure Language and Country, when d-i is loading needed modules. It is not able to found CDROM module. But, if I added another hard disk in master of primary IDE bus, it can found needed modules and instalation follows fine. I think this bug will be important because computer next generation gonna have SATA disks (without IDE disks), Thanks and best regards, Dooteo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
