Package: fcron Version: 2.9.6-2 Severity: wishlist Hi,
Currently I'm using fcron with runit-run, without cron installed, and using svlogd to log daemon output. I have to maintain installed syslogd-ng because the dependencies, but is not used in any way. Please, suggest a system log daemon, instead of depend on; this way we can use svlogd or daemontools without install a system log daemon. Thank you. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.12.2 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Versions of packages fcron depends on: ii adduser 3.65 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.52 Debian configuration management sy ii dpkg 1.13.10 Package maintenance system for Deb ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-22 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libpam0g 0.76-23 Pluggable Authentication Modules l ii libselinux1 1.24-1 SELinux shared libraries ii ssmtp [mail-transport-agent 2.61-3 extremely simple MTA to get mail o ii syslog-ng [system-log-daemo 1.6.8-1 Next generation logging daemon fcron recommends no packages. -- debconf information: * fcron/anacronwarn: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
