My opinion is that fixing erroneous information is the "right thing"(TM) to do. Also, IIRC the new version support of the BTS parses changelog looking for "closes" entry, thus leaving there misleading information is not a good idea ... -- Stefano Zacchiroli -*- Computer Science PhD student @ Uny Bologna, Italy [EMAIL PROTECTED],debian.org,bononia.it} -%- http://www.bononia.it/zack/ If there's any real truth it's that the entire multidimensional infinity of the Universe is almost certainly being run by a bunch of maniacs. -!- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Bug#321081: vim-common: Syntax highlighting error in resolv.conf
Odd, I thought I closed that bug in the last upload. argh, it seems that I have closed the wrong bug. 311081 instead of 321081. I'll close the bug. Btw, am I allowed to change the changelog to reflect the right bugreport ? I tried adding dashes at random in the domain part of search entries and vim never highlighted them as errors. Also, at first glance, dash seems to be properly handled in the syntax highlighting code of resolve.conf. Thanks for the report. Package: vim-common Version: 1:6.3-071+1 Severity: minor Hi, when syntax highlighting is enabled, Vim colors a "search" entry in /etc/resolv.conf in white on red if the domain includes a dash (-), indicating an error.
