This has been fixed recently in
https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/installation-guide/-/commit/dd9b6d669c312ce043c87e8ecbffd431fcf1d2d8

So tagging this bug as pending

Bug#322694: www.debian.org: Missing link to hd-media/boot.img.gz

2005-08-12 Thread Marvin Stark
Package: www.debian.org
Severity: minor

Dear maintainer,

I'am missing the link to hd-media/boot.img.gz in the tutorial howto boot
debian from a
USB-Memory-Stick(http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/i386/ch04s04.html.de).
It would be nice if you include the link to the boot.img.gz.
http://http.us.debian.org/debian/dists/Debian3.1r0/main/installer-i386/current/images/hd-media/boot.img.gz

best regards,

Marvin Stark
