Firefox seems to crash when opening a big jpg picture. Encountered the
problem when trying to load
http://unix.rulez.org/~calver/pictures/wtc-photo.jpg
There should be enough available memory, as there is 600 MB free
physical and 700 MB free swap (the whole swap) before loading Firefox.
There is no lag, no anything. Just before the name of the tab changes to
reflect the url it just goes down with error message:
The program 'Gecko' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.

(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a
