Bug#343692: [m68k] ICEs while building gst-ffmpeg -- regression

2005-12-17 Thread Loïc Minier
Package: gcc-4.0
Version: 4.0.2-5
Severity: important

Hi,

After a change in gst-ffmpeg build flags, gcc-4.0 ICEd. This was back
in 0.8.7-3, and I reverted that change for m68k in 0.8.7-4 after I
pushed handling of the problem on Wouter Verhelst (I should have filed
 a bug instead).

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=gst-ffmpeg&ver=0.8.7-3&arch=m68k&stamp=1131304410&file=log&as=raw

Now, with the same build flags and compiler as in the past, gcc-4.0
ICEs with 0.8.7-5, so this is probably a regression in gcc-4.0.

http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=gst-ffmpeg&ver=0.8.7-5&arch=m68k&stamp=1134721559&file=log&as=raw

So gcc-4.0_4.0.2-3 had a first ICE which I worked around, and the work
around doesn't work or causes a new ICE with gcc-4.0_4.0.2-5.

I'll try to collect some debugging informations via the developers
 accesible machine, crest.

   Bye,
