Bug#348991: Confirm for iotop behavior

2020-03-18 Thread Marcos Fouces
Hello Gerrit

Could you confirm the behavior of iotop?

These are my results:

$ sudo iostat ALL
Linux 5.4.0-4-amd64 (debian)18/03/20_x86_64_(4 CPU)

avg-cpu:  %user   %nice %system %iowait  %steal   %idle

$ uname -a
Linux debian 5.4.0-4-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 5.4.19-1 (2020-02-13) x86_64
GNU/Linux

There are no data for r/s, w/s, d/s or f/s. Man page for iostat states
that the result contain only data that are provided by the kernel.

AFAIK, the kernel is not collecting this info.

Greetings,
Marcos.
