That sort of thing is why it's necessary to be able to install xterm with different permissions, according to what the platform supports... -- Thomas E. I think it's a case where the build environment lacks a tty in its /etc/group file, and have added an option to the configure script to allow the packager to force it to work around this case (will be in #209). -- Thomas E.
