Package: libpoppler0c2
Version: 0.4.4-2
Severity: wishlist

Please package newest version (0.5.0 as of this writing), it really
helps Evince display and print a lot of PDF.

I did it myself, and you can find the source on
http://apt.bxlug.be/sarge/sources/

I also think you should use a watch file (dehs) to follow the newest
versions.

poppler 0.5.0 is unstable upstream branch.  If it will be packaged then
it will be in experimental.

You're perfectly right. For whatever reason, I did not get that 0.5.0
was a development version.

Hi,
is there any progress on getting this into unstable? This is currently
blocking evince 0.8 from going to unstable... (not to mention that
poppler 0.5.4 is much better than the current unstable version)
