Actually I just switched the foo/bar/baz wheezy full rebuild test (in my non-public instance) to just use this option. Once this has finished (about 50% to go) I'll delete the first half of logs that were run without this option Andreas -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#359154: [Piuparts-devel] Bug#359154: Bug#359154: --install-remove-install as default
Hi, On Montag, 28. November 2011, Andreas Beckmann wrote: shouldn't --install-remove-install be the default then? As it will always catch more errors, and never less, or? I didn't think about this carefully, yet. For the install-purge test it may be so, but for all the upgrade tests it changes behaviour significantly. Why? install, remove, install, upgrade, remove, purge should never catch less errors then install, upgrade, remove, purge ?! As I see it, the only thing we need to make sure is, that these new tests don't catch _too many_ of these errors, making the more important once less visible. But then, these errors are pretty important I'd say and I also don't expect too many to show up. Other thoughts? cheers, Holger -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
