pitivi failed to run with a segmentation fault when gstreamer0.10-x is
not installed, but run with no problem when it is installed.

 Thanks, I added a dependency on the good set of plugins which contain
 the plugin creating a video output with whatever is available
 (autodetect plugin), and the plugin creating a video output with
 whatever is configured (gconfelements plugin).  The good set
 Recommends the X package, but it's technically possible not to install
 it if you configure your output plugin to something else (say
 fakesink).
