Bug#360419: libgtkmm-2.4-dev unmet dependencies
Package: libgtkmm Version: 2.4-dev There appears to the some sort of dependecy problem with libgtkmm-2.4-dev which prevents it from installing correctly. Here is a transcript. $sudo apt-get -s install libgtkmm-2.4-dev Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that the package is simply not installable and a bug report against that package should be filed. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libgtkmm-2.4-dev: Depends: libgtkmm-2.4-1 (= 2.4.10-1) but 1:2.4.11-2 is to be installed E: Broken packages I am using Debian stable kernel 2.6.8-2-k7 --Will -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". reassign 360419 libgtkmm-2.4-dev thanks * wbd <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [2006-04-01 19:48]: > $sudo apt-get -s install libgtkmm-2.4-dev > > libgtkmm-2.4-dev: Depends: libgtkmm-2.4-1 (= 2.4.10-1) but 1:2.4.11-2 > is to be installed What architecture do you use? And can you try again - it would work now. (Sometimes a new package is uploaded which has such a strict depends, but the package is only uploaded one one architecture and then it'll need a day or two to be built on other architectures. So that's when you see a failure like this.) -- Martin Michlmayr http://www.cyrius.com/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
