Well, since then I have discovered nothing detects my cdrom and the
sound does not work very well
Do you know what kernel module is needed to support your cdrom and
sound card? For the sound card, I suspect snd-intel8x0 or
snd-hda-intel, but I need someone to verify this. For the cdrom, I am
not sure, but suspect the ata_piix or piix modules would enable proper
SATA supprt. Can you tell me if any of these modules solve the
problem?
