Thanks for the added info, Lauri. I've been unable to reproduce this bug. It has me mystified. I've tried using different window managers. I'm not sure which software component is the root-cause of this bug. If this bug ever `goes away' for you, I'd be really interested to hear what you think might have been the cause.
