Bug#367821: No .desktop file

Package: xarclock
Version: 1.0-11.1

I'm attaching a .desktop file for xarclock. xarclock does not come with an icon 
(nor did a quick
google search turn one up), so instead of leaving the Icon field blank, I 
used xarclock, just
in case an icon is added later. I checked and it validates OK with 
desktop-file-validate. Thanks.

Debian does not use .desktop files.  Such files are generated
automatically only if needed.  There does seem to be a problem with
the menu file used to generate menu entries (including .desktop
files).  I'll include a fix with the next release.  Thanks for calling
this to my attention.
