In one of my computer at home I had not made any upgrade since few months. I had problem when running a dist-upgrade with testing. I had to remove vide manually before being able to re-launch a dist-upgrade. FYI vide installed its binary into /usr/bin/X11/vide As far as I know vide was removed from stable, testing etc... but existed into old stable.
