Hi,

I guess that would explain the breakage of us_intl for example, no ?

Best regards
C.

Bug#392567: libx11-data: Dead keys breakage

2006-10-12 Thread Jerome Marant
Package: libx11-data
Version: 2:1.0.3-1
Severity: important

Hi,

After upgrading libx11-data, dead keys do not work any more.
For example, hitting ^ + o displays ^o instead of ô.

Reverting to 2:1.0.0-9 fixes the problem.

Thanks.

it also says that it does now know about my locale anymore, and breaks
many applications when you use special keys (makes vim enter 100% cpu
looks garbling its output, obviously due to some bad escape sequences
sent).

I hence raise the severity to critical.
