Bug#402353: nautilus: Crashes when deleting directory

2006-12-30 Thread Simon Wenner
Package: nautilus
Version: 2.14.3-7

Nautilus always crashes if I delete a folder in the tree view. 'right
klick' - 'Move to Trash'. Doing it in the normal view (symbols or
list) works fine.

gdb nautilus... I hope I did it correct.

Hi,

Does this happen for any folder, or only if you delete the one you're
currently viewing? If so, Nautilus actually doesn't crash, but simply
exit. See, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336724

Yeah, it's exactly like described in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=336724
It doesn't actually crash but this behaviour is not intuitive. It seems
to be fixed upstream... thanks for your answer.

Yes, I'm running Nautilus 2.16 and can confirm that this behaviour has
been reverted. There is of course the possibility to add the upstream
patch to Nautilus 2.14, but I'm not sure that's a good idea this late in
the etch freeze.
