If it doesn't manifest with etch kernels, then I'm happier about ignoring it for etch than I otherwise might have been. If the module source is only needed for older kernels, as mentioned, then there's no reason it /needs/ to be removed from etch; and the other userspace packages from this source package are certainly useful. So I'm downgrading this bug. I agree, I'm not seeing anything urgent enough to justify breaking the freeze on this package yet. Having it won't break anything for people who don't use it, but removing it might stir a few hornets who do. Unless something new comes to light, I'm happy to put this on the post-etch todo list.
