I'm upgrading the bug to grave since this package is just plain broken after an upgrade. Kees Cook wrote: > Hello! I've checked this patch and it works just fine for me. Please apply it as soon as possible. Thanks for maintaining imapproxy! Thijs signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part

Bug#405704: imapproxy: fails to start - breaks install/upgrade
Package: imapproxy Version: 1.2.4-7 Severity: normal I was running 1.2.4-5 and had upgrade problems when trying to move to 1.2.4-6 which is what is available for the testing branch. I had an issue performing the upgrade -- because the imapproxy could stop (even though it was already stopped) -- I saw there were some bug reports on this issue regarding the init script, so I modified that to allow dpkg to upgrade the packaging and when prompted if I would like to overwrite my (customized) version of the init.d/imapproxy script with the Default package-maintainer's version, I selected yes. Since I still received the following error with 1.2.4-6 I saw there was -7 available in unstable. I proceeded to install 1.2.4-7 and still have the same issue: Setting up imapproxy (1.2.4-7) ... Starting IMAP proxy: grep: /proc/26035/cmdline: No such file or directory -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 Failed to start imapproxy. Check logs for details. APT prefers testing invoke-rc.d: initscript imapproxy, action "start" failed.
