Bug#406195: mozilla-mplayer: [Etch]Can't install for firefox (which is still the package in Etch)
Package: mozilla-mplayer Version: 3.31+main-1 Severity: grave Tags: etch Justification: renders package unusable Hello, The package iceweasel is not present in Etch, but mozilla-mplayer depends on iceweasel without the old name firefox, thus not making it possible to install the plugin over firefox. Please add back the dependency on firefox. This would mean changing that dependency into: firefox | iceweasel | iceape-browser | galeon | epiphany-browser | konqueror istead of iceweasel | iceape-browser | galeon | epiphany-browser | konqueror Thanks. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-amd64 Locale: LANG=ro_RO.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ro_RO.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". That's not "grave". iceweasel will ship with etch; firefox will not. -- Steve Langasek Give me a lever long enough and a Free OS Debian Developer to set it on, and I can move the world. Please restore the severity to grave and resolve the bug as suggested. Iceweasel is still in freeze and in the mean time aptitude has broken the link with Firefox and installed galeon, which I do not want. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
