Package: kile
Version: 1:1.9.3-1
Severity: wishlist

Hello,

In long .tex documents I find it crucial to be able to edit in one
place, then in another, and then to go back to the first one. This could
be supported by allowing two editor views on the same .tex document. The
views must be linked so that changes in one view are immediately
reflected in the other one.

Kile does not allow that; there is no "new view" functionality, and
attempts to open the same file a second time are ignored.

Please implement this feature! For me, it is so important that I might
actually go back to using another editor, despite the fact that I like
kile! :-/
