If there is no new maintainer within about two weeks, I'm going to
 request its removal.

Should we remove it? It's still relatively popular -- 274 installations
and 34 votes according to popcon. (I'm fine either way, just checking
whether I should do a QA upload or not.)

Cheers,

Matej

Package: wnpp

I'm orphaning sgrep due to lack of interest in this package.

This package is in good shape and is trivial, makes it
ideal for any New Maintainer. In case a non-DD maintainer wants
to take this package over, I'll offer to sponsor it.

If there is no new maintainer within about two weeks, I'm going to
request its removal.

If you want to be the new maintainer, please see
http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/index.html#howto-o for detailed
instructions how to adopt a package properly.

Description: tool to search a file for structured pattern
A tool for searching text files and filtering text streams for
structured criteria. Sgrep implements a query language based on so
 called region expressions.
 .
Like grep, sgrep can be used for any kind of text files. However it is
most useful for text files containing some kind of structured text. A
file containing structured text could be defined as a file, which obeys
some syntax. Examples of structured text files are SGML, HTML, C, TeX
 and mail files.
