My iceweasel automatically opens pdf files with xpdf. I want to change
this, but the preferences menu does not list pdf as a file type that can
be changed, nor does it allow toadd a new entry for pdf files.
Curiously, if I open the pdf file from the download manager, it uses the
Document Viewer rather than xpdf.
I found this in
/home/pot/.mozilla/firefox/do5efn6t.default/mimeTypes.rdf:
RDF:Description RDF:about=urn:mimetype:externalApplication:application/pdf
NC:path=/usr/bin/xpdf
NC:prettyName=xpdf /
but I cannot edit it from the preferences menu.
