Package: mozilla-livehttpheaders Version: 0.13.1-3 Severity: normal When using the replay feature of Live HTTP headers with a POST request and modifying the POST request data, Live HTTP headers does show the new Content-Length resulting from the changes below the request contents field. It however does not change it in the headers accordingly, which would be the optimal behaviour. Even worse, if one manually modifies it in the HTTP headers field and then replays the request, it not only includes the changed Content-Length header, but also appends the original one (plus Content-Type) again, i.e. in the resulting request it looks something like this:
--8<--- Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 76 Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded Content-Length: 74 --8<--- This then results in an HTTP error 413 (Request Entity Too Large) from the server. elmar -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages mozilla-livehttpheaders depends on: ii iceweasel 2.0.0.1+dfsg-4 lightweight web browser based on M mozilla-livehttpheaders recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- .'"`. /"\ | :' : Elmar Hoffmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ASCII Ribbon Campaign \ / `. `' GPG key available via pgp.net against HTML email X `- & vCards / \ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
