Has this been resolved in the Han's current release, 20090107?

There are several 128-cell character arrays used in extend.c. I
assume they are used instead of dynamically-allocated (malloc) memory
for the sake of simplicity; which is one of mg's core goals. I'm
forwarding this upstream, but I suspect the response will be WONTFIX.

Reducing severity because...

Bug#414846: mg: Segfaults on very long extended commands

2007-03-13 Thread Stefan O'Rear
Package: mg
Version: 20061222-1
Severity: normal

(1) Start mg
(2) M-x
(3) enter 128 characters
(4) C-g
(5) Observe segmentation fault

This is reliably reproducable; obviously it does not affect normal use.
