Package: stow Version: 1.3.3-2.1 Severity: normal Hi,
when using stow with a fresh install of etch (testing as of 2007.03.16) it fails to deal with the link : man -> share/man which is present in /usr/local. it would be great if stow would follow symlinks at this point. example : # stow -v -v gqview-2.1.5 Stowing package gqview-2.1.5... Stowing contents of gqview-2.1.5 Stowing directory gqview-2.1.5/bin Stowing contents of gqview-2.1.5/bin LINK /usr/local/bin/gqview to ../stow/gqview-2.1.5/bin/gqview Stowing directory gqview-2.1.5/man stow: CONFLICT: /usr/local/stow/gqview-2.1.5/man vs. /usr/local/man thanks -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (600, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18.2006.11.01.ws.susp.k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages stow depends on: ii perl 5.8.8-7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction stow recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
