Bug#426564: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Crashes with signal 11 in experimental version

2007-06-23 Thread Brice Goglin
Hi,

Could you try the latest xserver-xorg-video-intel package (2:2.0.0-5
currently in experimental) and report back whether it fixes your
problem? If it does not, it would be good to catch a debugging backtrace
with gdb. You'll have to install xserver-xorg-core and rebuild
xserver-xorg-video-intel with debugging enabled (look at
http://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace).

Thanks,
Brice

Bug#426564: xserver-xorg-video-intel: Crashes with signal 11 in experimental version

2007-05-29 Thread Eckhart Wörner
Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.0.0-2
Severity: important

With experimental version 2.0.0-2 Xorg doesn't start, fails with signal 11 (see
log). This worked fine up to version
2.0.0-1.

It would be helpful if you could build the intel driver with debugging
symbols and get a backtrace of this crash using gdb (using ssh from
another machine, or a core file).

Cheers,
Julien
