I looked at the code, and I think that -u was lost accidentally. The
--url option is still supported, and I think that the -u option was just
missed when Edward rewrote the argument processing code. He kept around
single-character options in several other cases, including -o, -q, -v
and -h.

I think that -c was lost in the same way as -u, since it's still
documented in the manpage. I'm less sure about -n, since it's no
longer documented. However, I hope Edward will add it back in,
just for the sake of compatibility.

I submitted two patches upstream as a part of SF bug #1760001 (one for
-u and -c, another for -n) and I'll upload a new Debian package
containing my changes either today or tomorrow. If Edward disagrees,
I'll revert my change and upload manpage fixes instead.

Ok, I'll pass this along upstream. Sorry the loss of -n caused you an FTBFS.

Hi,

please ask upstream to drop the '-u' option from the manpage, since it
is no longer supported. I discovered that by fixing some FTBFS due to
'-n' being dropped, and needed to adjust '-u' too.

Cheers,
