I had a look at it already. Status is, that most of the new code is connected 
to a "egbb" probing code, that uses a windows dll. 

As far as I can see Thomas Gakesh (Upstream) broke the Windows/Linux 
portability of the code with this.

I am currently examining, if I can exclude it, but I am not seeing a solution 
today.

Maybe Thomas Gakesh as the upstream Author can give any hint, so I put him on 
CC.
