oops, I found out I had errors in the new openct.udev.modalias file. They are now fixed and new openct 0.6.13 is released. Also I found out. kernel 2.6.22 has an incompatibility, will be fixed in 2.6.22.6 I hope (gregkh has the patch in his queue). new openct will work even without /proc/bus/usb and CONFIG_USB_DEVICEFS. it can also be used via hald instead of udev, if that is preferred (opensuse / udev / sysfs developers do that and recommend it - but might not be practical for small servers with minimal software). if you find time, please update to openct 0.6.13. if you prefer to stick with udev for now, you shouldn't need to change anything.
