Package: w3c-libwww
Severity: critical

This message is mainly for the RMs, BSP bug hunters etc. who have a look at
libwww.
I'm filing this against my own package.
I am going to request removal because:

- the code is old and suffers from bitrot
- there are probably more security issues lurking somewhere in there,
similar to #334443 which was fixed in October 2005
- upstream is dead
- libcurl is a much better replacement

I still need to have a closer look at the rdeps - feel free to help with
this. From a quick look, removing libwww is probably not too much of a
problem.

Cheers,

  Richard
