Bug#441282: xserver-xorg: no more possible to start kde. Xserver shuts down immediately
Package: xserver-xorg Version: 1:7.2-5 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable I have upgraded my pacakges yesterday, and I'm no more able to start any windows manager from kdm.The only things that works is the fail safe mode meaning that the X server per se is not the culprit but looking at the Xorg log file, I do not see any error or strange warning. Sorry to be unable to help you more. -- Package-specific info: Contents of /var/lib/x11/X.roster: xserver-xorg /etc/X11/X target does not match checksum in /var/lib/x11/X.md5sum. So the for sure the bug can be transferred to dbus. The question is why is the directory missing?
