Why is the severity important?  While I have been experiencing some
problems with evolution and its use of the keyring, I don't know they
have anything to do with this error report.  Other than the log message,
what are the consequences of this problem?

BTW, there has been some recent activity on the upstream bug, with a
comment that some other application is trying to talk to the daemon.
