2008-01-16 Thread John Talbut

The same thing also happens with "Print Self Test Page".

Bug#458166: Can't clean printing heads of an Epson

2008-01-16 Thread John Talbut
I am getting the same problem with an Epson Stylus color 1520, I am on the
Testing distribution.

Any suggestions for narrowing the problem down? There seem to have been some
similar problems with Epson printers reported on Ubuntu, not just with the print
head cleaning routine.

While I'm not sure how CUPS implements its head cleaning, you might
find the escputil package is an acceptable alternative (assuming
your printer is an Epson inkjet).
