The same thing also happens with "Print Self Test Page". John -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#458166: Can't clean printing heads of an Epson
I am getting the same problem with an Epson Stylus color 1520, I am on the Testing distribution. Any suggestions for narrowing the problem down? There seem to have been some similar problems with Epson printers reported on Ubuntu, not just with the print head cleaning routine. While I'm not sure how CUPS implements its head cleaning, you might find the escputil package is an acceptable alternative (assuming your printer is an Epson inkjet). Regards, Roger -- .''`.
