The ocsigen-dev package has been added in the latest version of the
ocsigen package and should hopefully reach the archive soon.

Cheers,

Samuel.

Bug#459221: Create ocsigen-dev to enable developers to compile Ocsigen sites easily

2008-01-04 Thread Janne Hellsten
Package: ocsigen
Severity: wishlist

Please create an "ocsigen-dev" package that could be used to compile
Ocsigen sites under Debian. This would also facilitate creation of
Debian packages for apps that use Ocsigen. It's hard to do this as
one would need to install all dev packages (pcre, ocaml, sqlite3,
etc.) before being able to compile any sites.

The GODI package for Ocsigen makes this very easy.

Although the ocsigen-dev package would be mostly a "meta package" that
only contains dependencies for other ocaml packages, parts of Ocsigen
would need to be packed. This way things like Lwt could be used when
compiling sites.
