Bug#459598: FTBFS on sh4: 3 tests failed
Hello, * Aurélien GÉRÔME [Mon, Jan 07, 2008 at 05:20:56PM +0100]: If not, your help is appreciated in order to reproduce the bug with upstream's tarball (there is little change in the debian package but it's better to check), you can get it from: http://www.mpfr.org/mpfr-current/mpfr-2.3.0.tar.bz2 If you get the exact same build failure, please report it to the MPFR list (mpfr at loria dot net) with a link to this bugreport (or you can mail me and I'll forward it myself). Sure, I will do it after the gcc-4.2 build and report it there. Did you manage to recompile upstream's tarball? You may be interested in the new version release candidate, which is likely to be released as is: http://www.mpfr.org/mpfr-2.3.1/mpfr-2.3.1-rc2.tar.{bz2,gz} Laurent.
Bug#459598: FTBFS on sh4: 3 tests failed
Hello Aurélien, * Aurélien GÉRÔME [Mon, Jan 07, 2008 at 03:50:41PM +0100]: Package: mpfr Version: 2.3.0.dfsg.1-2 Severity: wishlist Hi, While building mpfr on sh4, 3 tests failed. The full build log is attached. It would be nice to get them fixed, as libmpfr-dev is a Build-Depends of gcc-4.2. I can provide assistance to fix this bug. Thanks for your bugreport. I can't find any developer accessible sh4 machine from db.debian.org; is there one somewhere? If not, your help is appreciated in order to reproduce the bug with upstream's tarball (there is little change in the debian package but it's better to check), you can get it from: http://www.mpfr.org/mpfr-current/mpfr-2.3.0.tar.bz2 If you get the exact same build failure, please report it to the MPFR list (mpfr at loria dot net) with a link to this bugreport (or you can mail me and I'll forward it myself). Et bonne année :-) Laurent. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

I can't find any developer accessible sh4 machine from db.debian.org; is there one somewhere? There are none at the moment, sh4 is an almost dead unofficial port which Arthur Loiret and myself intend to bring back to life. I currently have one machine on heavy load to obtain an up-to-date native sid toolchain. More machines will come afterwards.
