I was mailed to buildd admins, two of them removed the bogus build
dependency. Two of
them is not. On the other hand, vice is an all round Commodore emulator,
don't know if it's
for s390. Thus I may agree with the one who said it's not for s390, but
you decide if you want
to re-enable it for s390 or not.

Regards,
Laszlo/GCS

Bug#460521: vice: re-enable all release architectures

2008-01-13 Thread Philipp Kern
Package: vice
Severity: serious
Version: 1.22-2

Your last upload mentions the following:

   * Exclude m68k and sparc from building for now. The buildd admins didn't
remove bogus liblame-dev as build-dependency from buildds. This package
is not for s390, remove that as well.

This is not an action we appreciate from the point of the release team.
Bogus dep-waits need to be cleared in wanna-build (e.g. by mailing
[EMAIL PROTECTED]), and must not cause the architectures in question being
excluded. So please put it back into arch:any, if it is theoretically
able to build on all our release architectures. The not-for-us on s390
will be removed aswell.

Kind regards,
Philipp Kern
