Bug#465838: linux-2.6: New PATA drivers are disabled
Package: linux-2.6 Version: 2.6.24-4 Severity: normal The pata_pcmcia driver is missing in latest kernel, but the ide-cs driver doesn't work properly on my hardware (IBM ThinkPad T23). I know that PATA drivers have been disabled due fixing bug #419458, but this "fix" don't give a freedom of choice to users.
