Hello! I just saw the following: # Switch /bin/sh to dash Advocate: Petter Reinholdtsen? Release-Team-Contact: ?? Description: Make sure dash is installed and preseed debconf question. Fix bashisms. Bug-User: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug-Tag: goal-dash Bug-Url: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/[EMAIL PROTECTED]&tag=goal-dash State: confirmed A couple of shells (including mksh) still have a mechanism to be used as /bin/sh and there was no consensus about how to handle this when I looked last time. Please give me more information about how to change it to meet the release goals of Lenny – i.e., whether the ability to use a shell other than dash as /bin/sh is to be removed (from debconf, not by changing the link manually), or the debconf questions and scripts need to be adjusted.
