Bug#470538: lists.debian.org: Request for a debian-l10n-basque mailing list
Hello, As a Basque translator, I would like to support this initiative in order to have a place for debian-related l10n topics. As Piarres said before, until now we have been using the main librezale.org list, but since that list is more a general free software mailing list I see this a better place for that. Also, having the l10n list here would encourage more and more people to contribute to the project as it would be more visible for Debian users. Have a nice day, Julen. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Bug#470538: lists.debian.org: Request for a debian-l10n-basque mailing list
Hi all, I'm Mikel Pascual, Ubuntu-basque-translators' admin. I have to agree with them. There should be a place where debian translators could intuitively gather. The librezale.org mailing list isn't focused on translating debian, and having a @debian specialized mailing list would really help. regards
Bug#470538: lists.debian.org: Request for a debian-l10n-basque mailing list
Hi, Let me introduce myself: I'm Iñaki Larrañaga Murgoitio (aka Dooteo), I'm Basque translation leader of GNOME, OpenOffice.org, Inkscape, LyX and other applications, as well as KDE translation contributor too. We have mailing list (in our own server, euskalgnu.org) for gnome and kde for basque translation, and other list to share translations memories and to fix translation style, terminology and quality assurance. It's important to have a way to communicate between us to share our translation knowledges, to know translated packages status and to complete Debian schedules about packages releases. I hope to see a brand new mailing list in Debian for this old language ;) Thanks and best regards, Dooteo -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Bug#470538: lists.debian.org: Request for a debian-l10n-basque mailing list
Package: lists.debian.org Severity: wishlist Tags: l10n Name: debian-l10n-basque Rationale : We want this new list to coordinate our effor in debian around transtaion to basque, until now we have been using the librezale.org main list for debian around work but now in other to avoid problems we want to create a new list and we think the best site is lists.debian.org. I asked in debian-i18n about to create *user-basque or l10n-basque and they suggest me debian-l10n-basque is better [1]. I got no reply at all. This leads me to wonder how is the Basque localization doing or what is the real progress you have made and achieved with your work. Thanks, -- David Moreno - http://www.damog.net/ Yes, you can. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Could you have a few people who would be using this list reply to this bug with their support? The more the better, of course. You may want to see http://www.debian.org/MailingLists/HOWTO_start_list too if you haven't already read it.
