Bug#471071: libencode-perl: unnecessary package?
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE- Hash: SHA1 Without any doubt this render this package unnecessary, there's no need for this package being in the archive. Regards. - -- Jose Luis Rivas. Bug#471071: libencode-perl: unnecessary package?
Package: libencode-perl Version: 2.21 Severity: normal Why is this packaged separately? It's already included in the Perl core, and nothing in the archive seems to need a newer version. The only reverse dependency is libhtml-copy-perl, and even that seems to be unnecessary (see #471070). Please have this removed and/or ask for perl to provide it if necessary for some reason. There's Encode.pm version 2.12 in perl 5.8.8 and 2.21 in perl 5.10.0. Cheers, -- Niko Tyni [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
