Yep, penggy is a good candidate for removal. Upstream is completely dead
and I'm not sure that the prog is even working anymore (I've not used it
for a long time).

Bug#476687: penggy: should this package be removed?

2008-04-18 Thread Michael Meskes
Package: penggy
Version: 0.2.1-17
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

while reviewing some packages, your package came up as a package that
should maybe be removed from the archive, because:

* No upstream activity in the last 5 years.
* Last maintainer upload one year ago.
* Low popcon with only 15 installed.
* Release goal bug open.

If you disagree and want to continue to maintain this package, please
close this bug and do an upload also fixing the other issues.

If you agree that it should be removed, please send the following commands:

severity nn normal
reassign nn ftp.debian.org
retitle nn RM: packagename -- RoM; reasons
thanks

Thank you,
Michael
