I installed on my old laptop this morning and it works => this is an
amd64 specific problem.

Immedaitely after installing icedove was segfaulting. I did a dpkg --purge  
iceowl-extension and icedoce started again. I tried a reinstall. Icedove 
started. But no lightning extension was loaden in add-ons?
